Addressing the press conference, our Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has started various types of schemes under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana. An amount of 1.70 crores has been allocated by the Central Government for the successful implementation of the scheme .

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, PMGKY

As you all know that the second wave of corona virus infection is going on in the country. Due to which there is a lockdown in many states. Keeping this in mind, it has been announced to provide ration under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana . Efforts are being made to reach ration to all the eligible beneficiaries through this scheme.

Through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, priority will be given to the citizens of the economically weaker sections of the country such as road dwellers, garbage collectors, hawkers, rickshaw pullers, migrant laborers etc. This information was provided by Sudhanshu Pandey, Secretary, DFPD.

Expansion of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, PMGKY

The fourth phase of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana has been started by the government. Under which it has been announced to allocate additional food grains to the beneficiaries of the National Food Security Act by 30 November 2021 . This information has been given by the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs. 

This decision has been taken in the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on 23 June 2021. While addressing the nation on 7 June 2021, it was announced by the Prime Minister that this scheme will be extended till Diwali. The first Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana was started for 2 months due to Coronavirus infection. For which an expenditure of Rs. 26,602 crore was estimated.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, more than 63.67 lakh metric tones of food grains have been taken from FCI depots by the states and union territories. Food grains have been distributed by the central government to 55 crore NFSA beneficiaries in 34 states and union territories in May 2021 . This food grain distribution is about 28 lakh metric tones.

PMGKY Extended Till Diwali 2021

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana was started by our country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji due to coronavirus infection. Through this scheme free food grains are made available to all the beneficiaries.

All those beneficiaries who come under the purview of NFSA will be provided 5 kg of food grains per person per month under this scheme. The government has now decided to extend the scope of this scheme till Diwali.

This information has been provided by the Prime Minister himself in his address to the nation. Under which about 80 crore beneficiaries will get free food grains by November 2021.

The work of supplying food grains across the country by FCI is going on fast so that food grains can be reached to all the states and union territories.

During May 2021, 1433 food grains have been provided through FCI at the rate of 46 rakes per day. Government Prime Minister poor welfare plan the entire cost of food subsidies under, inter-state transport and dealer margins / additional dealer margin will be borne without any state or union territory of partnership.

How to register in Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, PMGKY

The poor people of the country who want to get ration on subsidy under this scheme by the government, then they have to read the guidelines given below. There is no registration process to get benefits under Pradhan Mantri Ration Subsidy Scheme .

Interested beneficiaries of the country who want to get wheat at the rate of Rs.2 per kg and rice at the rate of Rs.3 per kg under this scheme, then they can go to the ration shop and get it through their ration card. poor people can earn their living

Expansion of PMGKY in 2021

This scheme was launched by the government in March 2020. This scheme is a part of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package.

Through this scheme, 5 kg food grains (wheat/rice) and 1 kg pulses are given to the ration card holders by the central government. This scheme was started from April 2020 to June 2020. In view of the outbreak of Corona virus, this scheme was extended till Chhath Puja. 

This year, the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will be provided by the government in May 2021 and June 2021. This information has been provided by the Home Minister of our country Shri Amit Shah ji through a tweet.

  • All ration card holders can get 5 kg of food grains for free through this scheme. About 80 crore people will be provided 5 kg food grains in May 2021 and June 2021. For which an amount of Rs 26000 crore will be spent by the government.
  • A special feature of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana is that as many people whose names are registered in your ration card, 5 kg of food grains will be provided to them.
  • For example, if the names of 4 people are registered in your ration card, then you will be provided 20 kg of food grains. This grain will be different from the grain received every month. This means that if you get 5 kg food grains on ration card in 1 month then you will be provided 10 kg food grains. You can take this grain from the same ration shop from where you get ration every month.

New insurance cover for Corona Warriors under PMGKY

The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana was launched by the Central Government on 26 March 2020 , keeping in mind the poor at the time of Corona epidemic, under which various types of facilities were provided to the people of the country. But during the announcement made on Monday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has claimed to settle the current claims of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana by 24 April 2021 to create a new cover for Corona Warriors.

The Ministry tweeted in relation to Corona Warriors that the insurance cover available under PMGKY will be settled by 24 April 2021 and a new distribution will be provided to Corona Warriors immediately thereafter.

  • In the new cover by the insurance companies including the ministry, an insurance cover of up to ₹ 500000 will be provided to the warriors.
  • Simultaneously, it was told by the ministry by tweeting that the ministry has spoken to the insurance companies for this new insurance cover.
  • The main objective of providing this cover is to boost the morale of the COVID-19 warriors who have played a vital role during this pandemic.

PMGKY 3.0

The Prime Minister of our country, Narendra Modi, while taking forward the incentive assistance under this scheme, preparations are being made to start the third phase of PM Garib Kalyan Yojana.

Preparations are being made to bring the third stimulus package by the central government. On the basis of reports, in the third incentive package under this scheme, free food grains will be provided to the poor people of the country till March next year.

The central government is planning to extend the duration of this scheme for social security. Cash transfer scheme can also be included under this scheme. According to the report, in the third stimulus package, the government can transfer hair to 20 crore Jan Dhan accounts and 3 crore poor old people, widows, disabled.

ECR Required To Avail Garib Kalyan Yojana Benefits

There are many institutes all over India who have filled the declaration for this, but there are many institutes who have not submitted the ECR yet. Due to which they are not getting the benefit of Garib Kalyan Yojana . All those institutions who have not filed ECR yet can take advantage of this scheme by filing ECR as soon as possible.

All those members who have already filled ECR before the implementation of this scheme will also get the benefit of this scheme. Along with this, there are many such members who have not updated their Aadhaar KYC. Information is being given by the department to update their Aadhaar by contacting such members.

Please all those members who are not getting the benefit of the scheme due to non-availability of Aadhaar KYC update, get their Aadhaar KYC updated as soon as possible and take advantage of the scheme.

PM Garib Kalyan Yojana New Update

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana and Self-reliant India Scheme to all sections under the EPF Act 1952 Under this scheme, the Central Government will provide the vehicle of EPF and EPS contribution.

If you want to take advantage of this scheme, then it is mandatory for you to deposit the ECR of your employers in the Employees’ Provident Fund Welfare. About 1 lakh 80000 people will be able to take benefit under this scheme.

Under this scheme, a benefit of Rs.6 crore 58 lakh has been provided in the month of June and Rs.5 crore 60 lakh in the month of July.

Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Package

The Prime Minister’s Garib Kalyan Package was announced by the Finance Minister of our country, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. The budget of this package was Rs 1.70 lakh crore. This package was launched to provide assistance to the citizens of the country in fighting the coronavirus infection.

PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana

Through the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, the central government had announced to provide free ration to all eligible beneficiaries.

About 80 crore citizens have been provided free ration through this scheme. PM Garib Kalyan Yojana was started by the government for 3 months which was extended due to circumstances.

PM KISAN Yojana

Under this scheme, an amount of ₹ 2000 is provided by the government to all the eligible farmers thrice a year. In the first week of April 2020, the decision to transfer this amount to the farmers’ account was taken under the Prime Minister’s Garib Kalyan Package. About 8.7 crore farmers got the benefit of this scheme.

Transfer Amount under Garib Kalyan Yojana

The Finance Ministry said that under the PMGKY scheme, funds are being distributed in the accounts of the beneficiaries within a limited time frame, so far under the Pradhanmantri Garib Kalyan Yojana , through digital payment, the benefits are provided under Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Yojana. are being done. 

An amount of Rs 28,256 crore is to be provided by the central government to the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. The first installment has been released by the government in the month of April, Rs 5,606 crore has been transferred to the accounts of about 7.15 crore beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme.

Facility provided in Garib Kalyan Yojana

The Ministry of Home Affairs of India has announced a relief package of 1.7 lakh crores under the PMGKY scheme to help the poorest people. 

Under this scheme Govt. PM Kisan Yojana for farmers (2000/- send in first week of April), Ration card holder (80 crore people) – 5 KG ration free, Corona Warriors (Doctor, Nurse, Employee) – 50 lakh insurance , Jan Dhan Yojana – 500/- for next three months, {for Widow, Poor Citizens, Disabled, Senior Citizen} – 1000/- (for next three months), Ujjwala Yojana – Gas Cylinder free for next 3 months . 

SHGs – Additional 10 Lakh Collateral Loan, For Construction Worker – 31000 Crore Funds Released, EPF – 24% (12% + 12%) will be paid to the government for the next three months.

As there are many such people who are financially weak and are living their life by hard work, but due to the havoc of Corona virus, there is a 21-day lock down in the whole country so that poor people do not go to their work.

Seeing this problem, the Prime Minister has announced this PM Ration Subsidy Scheme, through this scheme people of the country can get 7 kg ration every month on subsidy. Through this scheme, the poor people of the country can live a good life sitting at home during the lock down days.
