Spandana is a public grievance redressal platform, an initiative of Government of Andhra Pradesh. Grievances raised through Spandana will be redressed in a specific time frame.

How to register Grievances on Spandana?

The grievances can be registered
from various sources viz. GSWS, 1902 Call Centre, Mobile App, Web Application,
Collectorate grievance day (Spandana Monday).

Easiest method to register spandana is through mobile app.

How to register spandana Grievance through mobile app?

1) Install Spandana Mobile app from Play Store.

2) Open your app, Enter your Adhar Number and Security captcha.

3) You will recieve One time password to verify your Adhar. Enter that OTP.

4) Once you login to Spandana App, click on Menu in top left corner.

5) Click on Register Grievance.

6) You need to fill 4 major details to get your grievance registered.

A) Personal Information

B) Individual/ Community

C) Grievances Adress

D) Grievances Information

Personal information

This is the first step for registering a new grievance. You need to enter your mobile number, District , mandal name, gender and house number.

After filling above information click on next button and fill individual and community details.

Grievance Address

You have to fill your address properly from where you are registering a grievance.

Grievance information

This is last but most important step. Just describe your grievance properly in easy and understandable words.
Finally submit your grievance.

Once you have completed above steps you will recieve unique “YSR#”
(Your Spandana Request Number) will be generated for each grievance. This YSR will be used to track grievance application.

How to track Spandana Grievance application status?

You can check the status of a grievance using the weblink shared to you by SMS message at the time of grievance registration or citizen can make a call to 1902 Call Center or by visiting the nearest Grama/Ward Sachivalayam or throughSpandana mobile app.

You can also visit https://www.spandana.ap.gov.in/. Click on “Check grievance status”, enter “Your Spandana Request” number and click on “Get Details”

What is the Grievance Redressal Process?

1) Grievance can be registered from multiple sources and a unique “YSR#”
(Your Spandana Request Number) will be generated for each grievance

2) Grievance will be assigned to the respective redressal officer

3)  Redressal officer performs the necessary enquiry, action and redresses the
grievance

4)  Citizen can ‘reopen’ the grievance if not satisfied with the resolution and the
same will be assigned to the higher authorities to redress the grievance.

How do I know that my grievance is redressed?

When a grievance is redressed by the grievance redressal officer in Spandana portal, citizen will receive an update in the form of SMS.

What happens to  grievance when it is re-opened ?

Once a grievance is re-opened, it will be assigned to a District Level Officer who is above the previous grievance redressal officer. The District Level Officer will perform necessary enquiry and redresses the grievance accordingly

How many times grievance can be re-opened?

You should re-open the grievance only when you are not satisfied with the previous redressal of the grievance. You can re-open the grievance twice.

When a grievance is re-opened at the first time, it will be assigned to a District Level Officer. If you are not happy with the grievance redressed at District Level, then you can re-open it second time and then it will be escalated to the HoD level

A grievance is a formal complaint on any issue regarding delivery of services by the government.A grievance can be raised on a department or an officer or on any scheme of the government. Right to information (RTI)can’t be seen as a grievanceand one can’t file RTI through Spandana.

Can Spandana be used for raising any new application / service request?

No, Spandana is meant only for raising grievances. No new applications or service requests are accepted on Spandana.
